Welcome to TasteY ("TasteY", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using www.tastey.in, our mobile application, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

1. About TasteY

TasteY is a technology platform that connects customers with independent restaurant partners and independent delivery partners.

TasteY does not prepare, cook, manufacture, or package food. All food items are prepared and supplied by the respective restaurant partners.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Provide accurate and complete information.
Use the platform only for lawful purposes.

3. User Account

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
Keeping your password secure.
Providing accurate contact and delivery information.
All activities performed using your account.

TasteY reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.

4. Orders

When placing an order, you agree that:

The information you provide is accurate.
You have authority to use the selected payment method.
Orders are subject to restaurant acceptance and item availability.
Once a restaurant has started preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible.

5. Pricing

Menu prices are determined by restaurant partners.

TasteY may charge:

Delivery fees
Platform fees (if applicable)
Taxes as required by law
Other charges that are clearly displayed before payment

All applicable charges will be shown before you confirm your order.

6. Payments

We accept available payment methods including:

UPI
Credit Cards
Debit Cards
Net Banking
Wallets
Cash on Delivery (where available)

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

7. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are approximate and may vary due to:

Restaurant preparation time
Traffic conditions
Weather
Festivals
High order volumes
Other unforeseen circumstances

TasteY will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery but cannot guarantee exact delivery times.

8. Cancellation

Customers may cancel an order only before the restaurant starts preparing it.

If preparation has already begun, cancellation requests may be declined.

TasteY reserves the right to cancel any order in cases including:

Restaurant closure
Item unavailability
Payment failure
Suspected fraud
Force majeure events

9. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Refunds may be considered in situations including:

Missing items
Incorrect items delivered
Damaged food
Duplicate payments
Failed transactions

Refund approval is subject to verification.

10. Restaurant Responsibility

Restaurant partners are solely responsible for:

Food quality
Taste
Ingredients
Hygiene
Packaging
Food safety
Compliance with FSSAI and other applicable regulations

11. Delivery Partner Responsibility

Delivery partners are responsible for:

Safe handling of food
Timely pickup
Timely delivery
Professional conduct

12. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Use the platform for illegal purposes.
Provide false information.
Abuse customer support.
Attempt unauthorized access to the platform.
Interfere with the operation of the platform.
Engage in fraudulent transactions.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

13. Intellectual Property

All content available on TasteY, including but not limited to:

Logo
Branding
Website design
Mobile application
Text
Graphics
Software

is the property of TasteY or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

14. Privacy

Your use of TasteY is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Services

TasteY may use third-party services for:

Payment processing
SMS notifications
Maps and navigation
OTP verification
Analytics

TasteY is not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TasteY shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited under applicable law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TasteY, its directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.

18. Force Majeure

TasteY shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, strikes, internet outages, government restrictions, epidemics, or other force majeure events.

19. Changes to Terms

TasteY may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
